Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Abyssanto Suites & Spa in Imerovigli, I found a compelling balance between luxury and value. As an environmental scientist, I appreciate that this hotel provides not only stunning views of the caldera but also a commitment to sustainability. The suites, which cleverly blend modern comfort with traditional cave design, were well-maintained and offered necessary amenities like air conditioning and a private jacuzzi-perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. I particularly valued their emphasis on local cuisine; the in-room breakfast was abundant, showcasing honest pricing for the quality offered. The staff, including Panagiotis and the owner Drossos, displayed a genuine commitment to enhancing our experience, assisting with tours and transport. With affordable dining options and services such as an airport shuttle, Abyssanto proves that luxury does not have to come at an exorbitant cost.
